Tangible Investments was founded as Tangible Investments of America in 1984 by Silvano DiGenova, who has long been recognized as a leading market maker in the rare coin industry. The name was changed to Tangible Investments after a merger with Superior galleries and an eventual selloff. Mr. DiGenova began his career as a rare coin prodigy, trading coins as early as 1976 and setting up his first booth at a national coin convention in 1977. A self-made millionaire in coins before the age of 21, he left the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania -- simply because he was loosing too much money by staying in school!

Mr. DiGenova is an authority on the rare coin market, grading, authenticity and appraisals. He has been featured in Fortune Magazine's "People to Watch," quoted on the front page of The Wall Street Journal and has been interviewed in hundreds of newspapers across the United States. He additionally appeared several times as a commentator on CNN, FNN and more recently CNBC (as CEO of Superior Galleries), the Discovery Channel, the History Channel and FX Television.
